Outdoor Discovery Camps to be offered

BUTLER, Pa. — The Succop Conservancy, owned and operated by the Butler County Community College Education Foundation, will host Outdoor Discovery Camps for kids Pre-K through fifth grade from July 14 through July 25.

The camps are offered by the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania.

Sessions are designed for children to experience the wonder of nature and the excitement of the outdoors. Activities include trail hikes, nature games, crafts, cook-outs and off-site field experiences.

Sessions from July 14-18 include “Great Nature Treasure Hunt” (K-first grade) and “Natural Mystery Tour” (second-third grade). Sessions from July 21-25 include “Fledglings Out of the Nest” (Pre-K ages 4-5), “Geo-Challenge” (third-fifth grade) and “It’s Only Natural” (K-second grade).
