Forum Health At Home offers hot, nutritious meals at noon weekdays at nine locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, June 25: Barbecue pork ribs, cheesy mashed potatoes, green beans, Diamond Jim bun, apple juice and milk.

Thursday, June 26: Chicken parmigiana, broccoli cuts, cauliflower, whole wheat bread, apricot halves and milk.

Friday, June 27: Macaroni and cheese, diced carrots, applesauce, wheat bread with margarine, sweetened or unsweetened mandarin oranges and milk.

Saturday, June 28: Cold cuts on a bun with mayonnaise, carrots with ranch dressing, apple, and orange juice.

Monday, June 30: Veal patty with gravy, kernel corn, chopped spinach with vinegar, garlic bread, diced peaches and milk.

Tuesday, July 1: Chicken-broccoli casserole, mixed vegetables, cinnamon applesauce, wheat bread with margarine, oranges and milk.

Trumbull county

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.
