DeRose 50th is celebrated on Caribbean cruise

X HOWLAND — Mr. and Mrs. Louis DeRose of Howland celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a seven-day Caribbean cruise hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Kim and John Sotok, and their family, of Sagamore Hills, who accompanied them on the trip.

Their family includes Frank and Laura DeRose of Las Vegas, Mary Flo and Dave Palen of Salem, and seven grandchildren.

Mr. DeRose and the former Elizabeth Karofa were united in marriage May 10, 1958, at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church in Warren.

Mr. DeRose was employed for 43 years by WCI Steel prior to retiring in 1999.
