ERIE Railroad

X Erie Mahoning Valley Railroad Association will meet at noon Tuesday at Belleria Pizzeria, 3460 S. Meridian Road, Cornersburg. Reports will be given, and birthdays will be recognized. All railroad retirees and their spouses are welcome.

GIRARD

X Girard Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the center, 16 N. State St. The annual picnic will take place, and the cost is $6. Bingo will be played after the meal.

HOLY FAMILY

X Holy Family Senior Citizens will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Merici Hall in the rectory basement. Jenny Nethers will preside. There will be cards, bingo and a 50-50 drawing. Sandwiches, snacks and coffee will be served. Hostess and host are Nancy and Eddy Nappy. The July 28 picnic will be at the Knights of Columbus in Poland, and the $8 cost will be collected at this meeting.

MARTHA LUPSE

X Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Marilyn Boggs will give the devotions. A pizza party will take place at noon; coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. POLICE & FIRE

X The annual summer picnic of the Police & Fire Retirees of Ohio, District 2, Chapter 10, Mahoning and Columbiana Counties, will take place at 5:30 p.m. July 10 at Masters Pavilion in Boardman Park. All retirees and DROP participants of the Ohio Police and Pension Fund living in Mahoning and Columbiana counties, and their spouses or survivors, are welcome. S.O.A.R. 27-16

X Oliver Montgomery Chapter 27-16, S.O.A.R., will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McGuffey Centre, 1649 Jacobs Road. New members are welcome. Meetings are held the last Wednesday of each month.

STS. PETER AND PAUL

X Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center with Ann Smith presiding. Reports will be presented by Pat Huffman and Mary Kachner, and lunch will be served by Toni Ellashek, Grace Gruber, and Peg and Bob Moherman. The fee of $4 for the Aug. 28 picnic will be collected.

SILVER AND GOLD

X Silver and Gold Club will meet at noon Tuesday at Birch Hill Cabin in Mill Creek Park for the annual picnic. Hostesses will be Betty Gulas and Clara Horvath. Members are reminded to take a wrapped white elephant gift.
