Catholic Charities Regional Agency Senior Center , 600 E. Fourth St., East Liverpool, is inviting the public to participate in free card games from 1 to 3 p.m. the second and third Friday of each month. Pinochle is played on the second Friday, and Euchre is played on the third Friday. There are door prizes and a 50-50 drawing. Also available at the center are such activities as dominoes, square dances and bus trips. Nutritious lunches are offered for a nominal fee, and home deliveries are available for those who are housebound. Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, Men’s and Women’s Needlecraft Club at 10 a.m. and bridge at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, and digital club at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., tai chi at noon and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m., exercise at noon and line dancing at 1 p.m.; and Friday, Texas Hold’em at 1 p.m. Special events include: Boardman Fun Day on Thursday and Youngstown Fun Day on Friday. Home Energy Assistance Program applications are available at the center. The center has applications for the SBC telephone discount program of $12.38 per month for eligible applicants.
