St. Patrick golf outing to be at country club

NEW SPRINGFIELD — “Open the Doors Fore the Disabled” is the theme chosen by St. Patrick Church for its golf outing on Aug. 4 at Fonderlac Country Club.

Proceeds from the 18-hole scramble will be earmarked for repairs to the handicap-access ramp, replacement of steps and new code-compliant railings at the church.

The fee for golfers will be $75 per person or $300 for four-person teams, and includes green fees, a cart, continental breakfast, lunch buffet after golf, a tee gift and all-day beverages.

Prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place teams, and for hole events such as closest to the pin, longest drive, longest putt and par 3 events.

Chuck Holden and Marcia Melvin are chairmen, and committee members are Tim Cassidy, Debbie DelQuadri, Honey Doran, Jim Doran, Pat Kerrigan, Loretta Moore, Christine Silvestri, George Spencer, Pam Thomas and Eddie Torres.
