McCain to visit GM Lordstown on June 27

Presidential candidate John McCain is expected to visit General Motors’ Lordstown complex June 27.

Details of the visit are being worked out, said Chris Lee, a GM spokesman.

It was announced last week that the Republican senator from Arizona would be visiting the region that day for a fundraiser. Local officials said he would be visiting a private home in Howland and visitors would be paying at least $1,000 to attend.

Paul Lindsay, a McCain spokesman, said details of the visit are still being arranged.
