LifeBanc and NAIFA schedule golf invitational


WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. — Oak Tree Country Club, 48 State Line Road, will be the setting on June 24 for the 11th annual Swing For Life Golf Invitational to be sponsored by LifeBanc, a nonprofit organ and tissue recovery agency for Northeast Ohio, and the Youngstown/Warren Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Registration and a continental breakfast will be at 8:30 a.m., and a shotgun start will get play underway at 10. The cost is $100 per golfer and includes the breakfast, 18 holes of golf, lunch and dinner. Golfers can also register by calling (888) 558-LIFE or by logging onto www.lifebanc.org.

Prizes will be awarded the first-, second- and third-place teams and for various skill games.

Proceeds will benefit LifeBanc’s public education campaigns in Mahoning and Trumbull counties, which alert residents to the need for and benefits of organ and tissue donations.
