The Regional Chamber estimates that $51.6 million of the $75.9 million annual direct and indirect payroll created by GM’s third shift will be spent locally. Here’s how much some industries could gain annually:

Housing: $11.4 million

Utilities: $4.3 million

Health care: $3.6 million

Vehicle purchases: $3.5 million

Food: $3.5 million

Entertainment: $2.8 million

Restaurants: $2.4 million

Impact

The Regional Chamber estimates the impact of a third shift at Lordstown:

Direct jobs: 1,400

Pay rate: $15.50 an hour

Payroll: $45.1 million

Indirect jobs: 980 created in the community

Indirect payroll: $30.8 million

Total impact: $75.9 million
