Library announces poetry contest winners

JEFFERSON — Henderson Memorial Public Library’s 10th annual poetry contest winners were chosen from 149 entries from 94 people. They are: Kevin Brady for “I Blow My Nose,” grades K-3; Valarie Burlingame for “My Favorite Creature,” grades 4-6; Sabrina Cameron for “We the People,” grades 7-8; Amy Wawrowski for untitled, high school; Susan Quickle for “The Cabin,” adult.
