Negotiated settlement proposed in AG sex harassment complaints

COLUMBUS (AP) — The attorney general’s office has offered to negotiate with two women whose sexual harassment complaints against a top aide led to the resignation of former Attorney General Marc Dann of Liberty.

Cindy Stankoski and Vanessa Stout seek a combined $875,000 in damages and attorney’s fees. An internal investigation has substantiated their claims that they were harassed by Dann’s general services chief Anthony Gutierrez.

In a Monday letter to the women’s attorney, Dann’s successor Nancy Rogers says the office is willing to engage in mediation on the matter.
