Armed robbery at Warren elementary school

WARREN — Police are investigating an armed robbery today at Lincoln Elementary School on Atlantic Street.

Police said a black man, about 5 feet eight inches and wearing a black backpack, walked into the school about 1:15 p.m. with a handgun and took from those working at the school what they described as tuition money described as being in the “low five figures.” The robber escaped on foot.
