The Steel Valley Super Nationals will run Friday through Sunday at the Quaker City Dragway. Events in Salem will run Thursday through Sunday:

THURSDAY

The Dunkin’ Donuts “Thursday Night Kick Off Cruise” with D.J. Ron by Wal-Mart, 6-9 p.m.

FRIDAY

Almost every bar or restaurant is offering disc jockeys or live music downtown starting at 4 p.m.

Flag-raising ceremonies by the AMVETS Honor Guard, 6:25 p.m. at the Key Bank Salem Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge stage on the front lawn of city hall.

A disc jockey and drivers will be at the burnout pit at The Stadium GM Superstore.

Donnell Ford will have music, and the Bounce House for kids with games and activities by the First Friends Church.

SATURDAY

Alternative rock band Downplay will be opening act at the Key Bank and Salem Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge stage, 5 p.m., where the Beatles tribute band Abbey Road will perform until 10 p.m.

Methodist Strawberry Fest, across from city hall, 5:30-10 p.m.

Steel Drum Band Sugar Tree Alley, 3-6 p.m. at the Flying Pig Saloon, followed by rock band “Road Hogs,” 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

“American Graffiti,” 10 p.m., Wal-Mart.

SUNDAY

AMVETS riders charity run and car cruise. Phone (330) 831-4872 for details.

Flag-raising ceremonies by the Sons of Union Veterans, 4 p.m., at the Key Bank Salem Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge Stage, followed by “Rock City,” 4-7 p.m.

MONDAY

A five-mile End-O-The-Nats Cruise-In at the Old Stage Coach Inn and Tavern in North Georgetown, 5-8 p.m.
