Today: The Lifelock 400 in Long Pond, Pa., is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., with network television (TNT) starting its coverage at 1:30 p.m. The Hartford native will start on the outside of Row 7, alongside Bill Elliott.

Season to date: Blaney moved up two spots to 29th in the driver point standings and is 72 behind No. 28 Eliott Sadler. He’s finished in the top 20 in each of his last five races
