Motorcycle Bingo Run will benefit the Boy Scouts


YOUNGSTOWN — St. Christine Church, 3165 S. Schenley Ave., has scheduled its fifth annual motorcycle bingo run as a benefit for Troop 22 of the Boy Scouts of America. The event will be July 27 and will include a blessing of bikes at 11 a.m., with the first bike out at 11:15 a.m.

Bike registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the lower lot behind the preschool at the church. The first 150 paid registrations will receive a free T-shirt. The $10 donation entitles participants to a ride packet containing five food and beverage tickets, a spot-prize ticket, a map of the ride route and directions, and a bingo card. The destination for the family-oriented motorcycle run will be a group ride to Geneva-on-the-Lake, arriving back at St. Christine’s around 4:30 p.m., when music, food and beer will be available. There will also be a 50-50 drawing.

The fee for corporate sponsors is $125 and will include the corporate name on a banner, the entry fee for two riders, a T-shirt, and the sponsor’s name on the event T-shirt. Donations of items for prizes are also being accepted.
