IN THE CUP Area holes in one


Don Patrone of Canfield aced the No. 2 hole at Valley Golf Club in Columbiana. He used a 9-iron on the 140-yard hole and the shot was witnessed by Andy Ragan and Dave Anderson. It was his first hole-in-one.

Dave Jones of Hubbard aced the No. 3 hole at Oak Tree Country Club in West Middlesex, Pa. He used a 9-iron on the 144 yard hole and it was witnessed by Anthony Panici and Zack Blinzley. It was his first ace.

Red Servenack of Boardman aced the No. 12 hole at Seven Hills Golf Course in Hartville. He used a 5-iron on the 172 yard hole. Witnesses were Joe Pipoly, Hank Doinoff and Keith Evans.

Ken Mills made a hole-in-one on the 240-yard, No. 7 hole with a driver at Beaver Creek golf course. The shot was witnessed by Dave Casey, Sam Fisher and Jim Scharville.

Mike Zoccali of Canfield aced the 185-yard, No. 14 hole with a 6 iron at Candywood Golf Club. Witnesses were Jake Corbett and Tim Walsh.

Jim Funea of New Castle aced the No. 18 hole at Bedford Trails Golf Course in Coitsville. He used a 9-iron on the 135 yard hole and the shot was witnessed by Joe Angelo and Dan Morgan.

Wes Wagner of Poland scored a double eagle on the par-5, fifth hole at Kennsington Golf Club in Canfield. His playing partners were Mike Petro, Mike Pasco, Dan Phillips and George Kalafut.
