Carlozzi jubilee observed in May at area restaurant

CAMPBELL — Mr. and Mrs. Matt Carlozzi, 479 Whipple Ave., were honored on the occasion of their 50th anniversary during a dinner party at 3 p.m. May 25 at Rachel’s Restaurant.

The couple were united in marriage May 22, 1958, at St. Vitus Parish in New Castle, Pa. They are members of St. Lucy Church.

Hosts for the celebration were their children and their spouses; Matthew Carlozzi of Canfield; Mark and Joyce Carlozzi and Michael Carlozzi, all of Poland; and Mary Beth Carlozzi of Boston, Mass.; their five grandchildren; and Jo Ann Belli, a sister of Mr. Carlozzi.

Mrs. Carlozzi, the former Marietta Colello, was a medical technician at Bel-Park Medical Lab in Youngstown prior to retiring in 1989.

Mr. Carlozzi is a Korean War veteran. He retired in 1995 from Wheatland Tube Co. in Wheatland, Pa., where he was a quality control foreman.
