Sledd-Wilmouth engagement told, wedding planned

X AUSTINTOWN — John and Cornelia Sledd of Austintown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Ann Sledd, also of Austintown, and Kyle Wilson Wilmouth of Austintown, a son of Chuck Wilmouth of Warren and Peggy Wilmouth of Port Orange, Fla.

The bride-to-be is pursuing a degree in nursing at Youngstown State University, where she is a student employee. She is also a U.S. Army National Guard ROTC cadet and will be commissioned in 2010.

The future groom is a sergeant with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and a veteran of Operation Iraq Freedom. He is pursuing a degree in electrical engineering technology at YSU.

Invitations will be issued for the couple’s 5:30 p.m. Aug. 9 wedding at St. Christine Church, and for their evening reception at St. Christine Parish Center.
