Britt-Schneider troth announced, wedding in fall

XGIRARD — The engagement of Kathleen Marie Britt of Girard and Eugene Joseph Schneider of Canfield and plans for their fall wedding are being announced by her parents, Ronald and Mary Ellen Britt of Girard.

Miss Britt, a teacher at St. Charles School in Boardman, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in education.

Mr. Schneider, a son of the late Eugene and Mary Catherine Schneider, attended Kent State University and is a sales associate with Baird Brothers Sawmill in Canfield.

The exchange of nuptial vows will take place at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 4 as the couple are united in marriage during an open ceremony at St. Charles Church, Boardman. Invitations will be extended for their evening reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall in Youngstown.
