“Lobstermen: Jeopardy at Sea: ‘The Hunt Begins’” (7 p.m., Discovery): If you are a fan of “Deadliest Catch” check out this show featuring three ships in the North Atlantic searching for lobster.

“Monsters, Inc.” (8 p.m., ABC): There are worse ways to spend a Saturday night than with two of the cutest monsters in history, voiced by the always cute John Goodman and Billy Crystal. One warning: ABC is stretching this to three hours, so be prepared for some serious commercial interruptions.

“NYC: Tornado Terror” (9 p.m., Sci Fi): Sci Fi’s Saturday movies are reliably cheesy, lightweight and silly — in so many good ways. This one is about tornados attacking New York, so it’s a winner right off, especially if they get Yankee Stadium (and, yeah, I’m a Red Sox fan).

“Dana Carvey: Squatting Monkeys Tell No Lies” (10 p.m., HBO):Dana Carvey, a man of many faces and musings, brings his brand of comedy to the new stand-up special, “Dana Carvey: Squatting Monkeys Tell No Lies.”
