Youngstown schools schedule community meetings

YOUNGSTOWN — The city school district will have two community meetings in August to inform the public about new programs and other changes for the coming school year.

The sessions are set for 6:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at East High School and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 21 at Chaney High School.

Dr. Wendy Webb, superintendent, said two meetings at the high schools earlier this month were poorly attended, and a decision was made to have additional meetings.
