Special Olympics state summer games ahead

COLUMBUS — Special Olympics athletes from Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties will be competing in the state Summer Games June 27-29 at Ohio State University.

Sawmill Lanes and United Skates of America, both in Columbus, will hold bowling and roller skating competitions, respectively.

Representing the Mahoning County Board of MR/DD are Paul Adamovich, Mike Armstrong, Michael Baltes, Fred Beshara, Michelle Burns, Aldo Cedrone, Bryan Davis, Jay Duncan, Justin Durkin, Daniel Freeze, Victoria Goist, Michael Grasso, Neil Gruber, Rob Hewett, Max Jurczyk, Kathleen King, Michael Klaus, Faith Lipscomb, Brandon Maclas, Kim Pallo, Jeremy Pitzulo, Robert Poulton, Mark Saraceno, David Sheetz, Erica Sheridan, Jason Smeal, Randy Smith, Jesse Tenney, Jeremy Warneke and Stacy Woods.
