STRUTHERS — TiLt 360, the local band who wrote the song for Kelly Pavilk, will be having a CD release party this Saturday at the Cellar in Struthers. Doors open at 8 p.m., and entertainment begins at 9:00. “Day 11” is the band’s debut album and features the song “Point Blank,” written for Pavlik. Other bands performing Saturday include Aldous, Rosella, Grand Fury and Something to Shelter. The party is open to all ages. For more information, visit www.tilt360.net.
Art classes at Hoyt

Theater art exhibit at YSU
YOUNGSTOWN — Art exhibit “From the Neck Up” is now open in Bliss Hall on the YSU campus.
The show features the work of Associate Staff Designer W. Rick Schilling. Pieces such as masks, crowns and wigs from productions are on display, as well as costumes and behind-the-scenes pictures. The theater production pieces span over the past 25 years, and there is also a display of 18th century hair styles. For more information, call (330) 941-3810.
National Jewish network
FORT LEE, Nj. — Time Warner Cable has a channel available called Shalom TV, and the channel can now be picked up in Cleveland, Akron, Canton and Youngstown.
Shalom TV is a national Jewish cable network that provides a variety of programs for viewers.
Entertainment, children shows, news and event coverage, Jewish studies and English-language programs are all part of Shalom TV.
The programs on Shalom TV are enjoyable for both Jewish viewers and non-Jewish viewers, said network president Mark S. Golub. Everyone can find something of interest on Shalom TV, said Golub.
Time Warner offers Shalom TV on Channel 1 or Channel 512 in Entertainment On Demand.
History of Rock Roll
SALEM — The local Tribute band will perform its well-known History of American Rock Roll show for the upcoming Salem SuperNats party June 20 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Donnell Ford.
The band consists of longtime entertainer Randy P. Strader and his sons, Jeff and Brandon, and grandson Mike Chesnut. The show will also include some members from the original Randy The Renegades, which was the first local band to earn recognition with a hit record, “4-Speed,” in 1962, and a national tour from 1961-68. The Renegades were also a part of Dick Clark’s Caravan of Stars show in 1962-63. Original members were Randy Strader, Joe Crawford, Fred Naragon and Larry Muntz. All were Salem natives. The show is free and open to the public.
