Julianne Oliver, Johnny Ware will say vows in Oct.

X NORTH LIMA — Thomas and Brenda Oliver of North Lima announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Julianne Lin Oliver of West Columbia, S.C., and Johnny Jomont Ware of Columbia, S.C., a son of Tracy Ware and Johnny Lay of LaFayette, Ga.

The bride-elect graduated from Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor’s degree in integrated language arts and is pursuing a master’s in language and literacy education at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. She is a high-school English teacher at Lexington High School in South Carolina.

The prospective groom graduated from Dalton State College in Georgia with an associate degree in surgical technology and is working toward a bachelor’s in early childhood education at Columbia College in South Carolina. He is a special-education instructional assistant at Blythewood High School in South Carolina.

The couple will be united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at St. Jude Church in Columbiana. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.
