REBECCA POMPEII WAYNE GREATHOUSE
X STRUTHERS — The wedding of Rebecca Pompeii and Wayne Greathouse was solemnized by the Rev. Jeannie Winters at 3 p.m. May 24 at Struthers United Methodist Church.
After a reception at St. Lucy's Banquet Hall in Campbell, the couple left on a wedding trip to Waikiki, Hawaii. Upon return, they live at 4301 E. Cotton Candy Court, New Middletown.
Parents of the bride are Carmen and Debra Pompeii, 23 Clingan Road, and the groom is a son of Christina Greathouse, 64 S. Lee Avenue. New Castle, and Wayne Greathouse Sr., Ravenna.
The bride's strapless white satin A-line gown featured a pleated red sash at the waistline.
Red gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Angela Pellice, and the bridesmaids, Ashley Lee and Cattina Greathouse, sisters of the groom; and Nikki Haun.
Jamie Mims was best man for his brother-in-law, and groomsmen were the bride's brother, William Pompeii, and her cousin, Ritchard Engelhardt. Ring bearers were the bride's nephews, Carmen Pompeii and Gavin Mims. Ushers were her cousin, Frank McLeod, and David Welsh.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a master's degree in physical therapy, and is a physical therapist with Banyan Tree Rehabilitation in Austintown.
The groom, a graduate of Butler Community College with an associate degree, is a counselor supervisor with New Castle Youth Development Center. He is also a member of the Army National Guard.
