X HARRISBURG, Pa. — John Thomas Holtzman and his bride, the former Lilly Elizabeth Winger, live in Harrisburg after their May 3 wedding at Paxton Presbyterian Church.

The Rev. Brian S. Janssen officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception followed at the Peter Allen House in Dauphin, Pa.

Parents of the bride are Julie and John Wilcox, 4136 S. Turner Road, Canfield, and Gary Winger.

The groom’s parents are James and Cheryl Holtzman of Paxtang Avenue.

The strapless gown of reembroidered ivory lace worn by the bride was adorned with pearls and crystals and featured a chapel train.

Golden yellow gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Katie York, and the bridesmaids, Nimarta Singh; Julia Wilcox, a sister of the bride; Holly Queen-Daugherty, the bride’s aunt; and Kristen Holtzman, the groom’s sister-in-law. Flower girl was the bride’s cousin, Virginia Williams.

The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s brother, Dan Holtzman, and groomsmen were Zach Elder, Jon Hulstine, J.T. Miller, Chase Mory and Greg Strella.

Mrs. Holtzman graduated from Ohio University in Athens and is an after-school activities counselor with Philhaven Behavioral Healthcare Services.

Mr. Holtzman, an art teacher with Central Dauphin School District, also graduated from Ohio University.
