2 shootings leave 4 wounded

YOUNGSTOWN — Four people were wounded in two separate shootings. A woman and two men were shot inside 1319 Inverness Ave. on the South Side around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
Aaron McGuire, 22, the resident, drove the other two victims, Deon Elliott, 21, of Glenwood Avenue, and Ashley Davis, 22, of Hillman Way, Boardman, to St. Elizabeth Health Center. McGuire was in satisfactory condition, Elliott was treated in the emergency room but not admitted and Davis was in critical condition.
McGuire and Elliott, when interviewed at the hospital by police, said they were all in the living room when they heard gunfire and the window breaking. They ran to the kitchen, realizing then they had all been hit. The victims were unable to give a description of the shooters.
Police discovered seven holes in the front of the house and 11 spent casings in the street. Officers also found a large amount of blood in the driveway and more blood in the kitchen and throughout the house. Reports don’t indicate what type of weapon was used or where the victims were hit.
Earlier, at 10:30 p.m. Monday, Jayjuane Hardy, 34, of Lee Avenue was found face down in the 40 block of South Garland Avenue on the East Side with a gunshot wound to his left leg. He told police he didn’t know who shot him. He was taken to St. Elizabeth’s for treatment.
