Stephanie Matasek to be August bride of Brian Myers

X BOARDMAN — The engagement of Stephanie Matasek, 8806 Saddlehorn Drive, Irving, Texas, and Brian Myers, 9813 N. MacAruther in Irving, is announced by her parents, Joe and Diane Matasek, 5065 Simon Road.

Jerry and Linda Myers, 2860 Wickford Ave. N.W., Canton, are parents of the future groom.

The bride -elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in international marketing and from Kent State University with a master’s in sports management. She is an event coordinator with American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Her fianc , a best practices manager with American Construction Benefits Group in Dallas, attended Ohio University at Athens, Texas.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows during an open ceremony they have planned for 3:30 a.m. Aug. 2 at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for their reception that evening at Avalon Inn Grand Pavilion in Howland.
