Lawrences mark 50th anniversary with family dinner

X PULASKI, Pa., — George and Joann Lawrence of Pulaski celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 3 at a dinner for invited guests at Tuscany Square Ristorante in New Castle, Pa.

Hosts were the couple’s five daughters and their husbands: Tricia and Jeff Julian of New Castle; Laurie and Jeff Mangino and Linda and Don Romeo, all of Pulaski; Sally and Todd Provenzano of Hackensack, N.J.; and Karen and Brian Emler of Beaver Falls, Pa.

Rounding out the family are the Lawrences’ 11 grandchildren.

The former Joann Gorski and Mr. Lawrence were married May 3, 1958, at St. Stanislaus Church in Youngstown. The couple are members of St. James Church in New Bedford, Pa.

Mrs. Lawrence belongs to the Fun at One Bowling League.

Mr. Lawrence, who retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Co. in 1992 as a building operation manager, is a member of St. James Men’s Group.
