Family dinner planned to celebrate O’Brien 50th wedding anniversary

X POLAND — The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Joe O'Brien of Poland will be the occasion for a family dinner that will take place June 14.

The former Frankie Davis and Mr. O'Brien exchanged nuptial vows on that date in 1958 at St. Mary Church in Greenville, S.C.

Mrs. O’Brien was a night nurse supervisor at Boardman Community Care Center prior to retiring in 1999.

Mr. O’Brien served with the U.S. Air Force and was employed as an agent with Farmer’s Insurance in Struthers before retiring in 1996.

Their family includes Martin and Kate O'Brien of Struthers, Patrick O'Brien of Columbus, Kevin and Lisa O'Brien of Columbus, and five grandchildren, Jim, Julie, Sean, Molly and Jason.
