Parents announce date for Brummel, Nissley wedding

X The engagement of Shawna Brummel, 521 Green Valley Road, Tallmadge, and Curtis Nissley, 6708 Hills and Dales Road N.W., Canton, and the date for their wedding are being announced by their parents.

Jeffrey and Debbie Brummel of the Tallmadge address are parents of the bride-elect, and parents of the future groom are Dale and Marian Wenger, 13752 Columbiana-Canfield Road, Columbiana, and the late Milford Nissley.

Miss Brummel received a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University.

Mr. Nissley, a financial adviser with Ameriprise Financial in Akron, earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and business at Wilmington College.

The couple have chosen Aug. 2 for their 2:30 p.m. wedding at First Baptist Church in Massillon. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception at the conference center on Stark Campus of Kent State University in North Canton.
