Aug. rite will join Holly Pekalla and Eric Humphrey
X AUSTINTOWN — Holly Lynn Pekalla and Eric Matthew Humphrey, both of 413 Wilcox Road, are engaged and have set a wedding date, her parents announce.
She is the daughter of Michael and Karen Pekalla of 145 Georgetown Place, and he is the son of Duane Humphrey of 303 Water St., Jamestown, Pa., and Michelle Hedrick, 3861 New Road.
The couple plan to exchange vows in a 2:30 p.m. open ceremony Aug. 2 at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Boardman, and to receive congratulations from invited guests at Avion on the Water in Canfield.
The bride-elect graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She is an intervention specialist at Jackson-Milton Elementary School in North Jackson.
The prospective groom, also a YSU graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in applied science. He works as a patrol officer for Mill Creek MetroParks Police Department in Youngstown and is also employed as a master tire specialist for Sam’s Club in Niles.
