X AUSTINTOWN — Rachel Marie Pangio, a daughter of the Revs. Michael and JoAnn Pangio, 6993 Ronjoy Place, Boardman, and Matthew Eric Cairns, a son of Richard Cairns , 45 Pineview Drive, Austintown, and Vicky Cairns of Danville, Pa., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. April 26 at Abundant Harvest Church. The Rev. Candy Fatimus officiated.

After a reception at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, the couple left for a honeymoon at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. They live at 3908 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown.

Swarovski crystals embellished the bride’s strapless white gown.

Chocolate-brown gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jessica Hurdley, and the bridesmaids, Jessica Colangelo, Kathryn Donofrio, Melisa Edmunds, Jennifer Pangio, Nicola Magallon and Melissa Reno. Flower girls were Gianna Pangio and Jessica Magallon.

Best man was Steven Cairns, and groomsmen were Justin Giudici, Brad Filip, Kyle Donahue, Jason Pangio, Aaron Pangio and Justin Hurdley. Ring bearer was Isaac Pangio, and the usher was Justin Magallon.

The bride graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University and is a staff development coordinator with Comprehensive Children and Family Services in Sharon, Pa.

The groom, a multimedia developer with Adtronico in Youngstown, graduated from Pittsburgh Technical Institute in Oakdale, Pa.
