Ligenza-Simone wedding planned at St. Rose Church

X BOARDMAN — John and Janice Ligenza announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Marie Ligenza, all of Boardman, and Vincent Simone, son of Francesco Simone, both of Girard, and the late Domenica Simone.

In an open ceremony at noon July 12, the couple will exchange vows at St. Rose Church in Girard. Invitations will be issued for a reception at Avalon Golf and Country Club at Squaw Creek in Vienna.

The bride-elect, a graduate of Youngstown State University, earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is a sixth-grade language arts teacher at Youngstown Community School.

The prospective groom works for the City of Girard in water pollution control.
