Anniversary party hosted by children honors Campolitos

X CANFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. David Campolito, 4850 Leffingwell Road, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 17 at a party at A La Cart Catering.

Hosts of the anniversary festivities were the couple’s children and spouses, David and Debbie Lee Campolito of Salem and Debra and Donald Allison, Dino Campolito, and Jana Marie and Mark Joseph, all of Canfield. Their family also includes 10 grandchildren.

More than 100 invited friends and relatives attended to congratulate the couple, and a special guest was Mr. Campolito’s 98-year-old mother, Babe Campolito. The Rev. Terrence J. Hazel, pastor of their church, St. Michael’s in Canfield, gave the blessing.

The former Charlotte Teno and Mr. Campolito were married May 3, 1958, at Holy Name Church in Youngstown.

Mr. Campolito, who worked in the engineering department at Danieli Wean in Youngstown, retired in 2000. He belongs to the Mahoning Valley Corvette Club.
