X BOARDMAN — Melissa Faith Barger, of 8273 Tippecanoe Road, Canfield, became the bride of Kevin Michael Guthrie, of 6 W. Haywood Ave., Struthers, in a 1:30 p.m. ceremony June 7 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.

The Rev. Robert Johnson of Bethlehem Lutheran Church officiated, and a reception followed at Avion on the Water in Canfield. After the couple’s honeymoon in the Hocking Hills, they reside at the West Haywood address.

The bride is the daughter of William and Mona Barger, of the Tippecanoe Road address, and the groom is the son of Dianne Guthrie of Boardman and the late Don Guthrie of Jewitt.

The bride wore an ivory A-line gown adorned with champagne beading.

Matron of honor was Robin Brunner of Columbus. Bridesmaids were Christine Hansh of Austintown, cousin of the groom, and Dyanna Ziedenstein of Boardman. The atttendants wore champagne gowns.

Best man was Eric Stuhlmann of Boardman, and groomsmen were James Brammer of Struthers and William Barger of Canfield, brother of the bride. Justin Barger, another brother of the bride, was the usher.

The bride is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Youngstown State University and expects to graduate in May 2009. She is employed as assistant manager of Youngstown Dance Supply.

The groom is manager of Outdoor Recreation Equipment.
