United Local School District to enroll new pupils

HANOVERTON —Parents wishing to enroll new pupils in the United schools for the 2008-09 school year must call the district to secure a registration appointment for next week.

Registrations will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at United Junior/Senior High School and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at United Elementary School on those same days.

Parents or guardians should call the district at (330) 223-1521, the high school oat (330) 223-7102 or the elementary at (330) 223-8001 immediately to secure an appointment and arrange to pick up registration packets in both school offices on Thursday.

Children’s birth certificates, social security numbers and immunization records must be brought to registration. Parents or guardians must also have two proofs of residency and any custody documents, if applicable.
