LaBeouf faces DUI charge

LOS ANGELES — “Indiana Jones” star Shia LaBeouf was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving Sunday after an early morning car crash in which he was injured, police said.

LaBeouf was the driver of a pickup truck that was involved in a 3 a.m. collision in Hollywood, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Wolf said.

“It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest,” Wolf said.

LaBeouf was being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for injuries to his head, left hand and knee, Wolf said. A female passenger in LaBeouf’s truck and the driver of the other vehicle were not seriously injured.

LaBeouf, 22, was booked on a misdemeanor DUI charge and released, Wolf said.

Lange’s house for sale

STILLWATER, Minn. — A house in Stillwater owned by actress and Minnesota native Jessica Lange can be yours for just under $2 million.

Lange and her longtime partner, actor-playwright Sam Shepard, lived and reared their three children in the house for nine years. They no longer live there and tried unsuccessfully to sell it in 2004.

The Victorian house built in 1892 has four bedrooms, a new in-ground pool, a guest house and a view of the St. Croix River valley.

In an interview earlier this year with the New York Daily News, Lange spoke with disappointment of changes in Stillwater. She says it went from a little town with lots of characters to a “yuppified” place with too many gift shops and condominiums.
