Fifty years ago: July 1958 was a rainy month throughout the Mahoning and Shenango valleys. This was the scene looking north on Shenango Avenue in Sharon after a four-inch rainfall. At right is the Liberty Theater, at left on Pitt Street is the Elks Building.
