Schedule for 2008: The train leaves Cumberland, Md., at 11:30 a.m. Thursday through Sunday through the end of August; Friday through Sunday in September, with no train Sept. 5; and Tuesday through Sunday in October.

Locomotive: A steam engine is used for all trips, except that a diesel engine is used for Thursday trips through the end of August and for Tuesday and Wednesday trips in October.

Fares: Adults, $25 in coach, $48 in first class; seniors, $23 in coach, $46 in first class; children 12 and under, $12 in coach and $31 in first class. First-class fares include lunch aboard the train and gratuity.
