Aim NationaLease buys Chicago company
GIRARD — Aim NationaLease said Thursday it has bought the operations of Primms LP, a transportation management and service company based in Chicago.
Aim, which is a commercial truck leasing company based in Girard, said the company’s Chicago operations have specialized in refrigerated equipment. Primms is a good fit because most of its operations involve refrigeration, Aim said.
The acquisition will add 150 vehicles, which will be absorbed into Aim’s three branches in the Chicago area. The deal follow’s Aim’s acquisition in April of Amtralease in Erie, Pa. Aim is the third-largest leasing company in the country, with more than 6,000 vehicles.
Home Savings and Loan to reopen Glenmoor branch
YOUNGSTOWN —Home Savings and Loan Co. said it is reopening its Glenmoor Branch in southern Columbiana County. The lobby of the branch at 46635 Y O Rd., Glenmoor, will open Monday, while the drive-through is to reopen Oct. 1.
The branch has been closed since June 18 when a truck damaged the office while moving through the drive-through. Employees from the branch have been working at other branches but will be returning.
Youngstown-based Home Savings operates 39 branches and six loan production offices in Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
