X CAMPBELL — John Andrew Ihnat and his bride, the former Jolene Bixler Rodgers, have returned from a honeymoon at Riviera Maya, Mexico, and live in Struthers.

They were married June 21 at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church and were honored afterward during a reception at St. Michael’s Social Hall.

The Rev. Basil Marchak and Monsignor Victor Romza officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Donna Rodgers of Austintown and the son of John and Adele Ihnat of Poland.

The bride was wearing a satin A-line gown trimmed in champagne and featuring a halter-style neckline, a split-front skirt and a chapel train.

Azalea-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jenni Harvey, and the bridesmaids, Sarah Kascak, the bride’s cousin; Amy Nerone; Kristin Williamson; and Lindsey Hammond.

Serving as best man was the groom’s brother, Jim Ihnat, and groomsmen were Jared Rodgers, a brother of the bride; Dan Johnson; Greg Ihnat, a cousin of the groom; and Nick Lombardo.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in social work and is a stay-at-home mother and homemaker.

The groom is a teacher with Canfield City Schools. He earned a degree in education at YSU and is pursuing a master’s degree in administration of education.
