CLASSES

• East High School Alumni will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

CLUBS

• American Hungarian Club, Donald Avenue, Youngstown, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the clubhouse. Preparations for the Heritage Day celebration in September will be made.

• Youngstown Women’s Connection invites the public to a luncheon at noon Aug. 12 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown. Doors open at 11:15 a.m. and the “Pattern for Life” program will feature Judy Chavez, who will discuss quilting; music by Etta Irwin; and a guest speaker, Connie Beard, who will discuss “How to Handle the Unexpected.” The cost is $10 per person. • D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, has planned the following events: Monday, bike riding at 6:30 p.m. on Kirk Road, Austintown; Tuesday, dance lessons with Judy Conti at 7 p.m. at Wedgewood Plaza, cost is $5; Wednesday, golf at 6 p.m. at short holes in Mill Creek Park at McCollum Road; Thursday, music at Boardman Park at 6:30 p.m.; and Aug. 1, cheap movies at 6:30 p.m. at Boardman.
