Two Pa. fire departments get grants

SHARON, Pa. — The Sharon Fire Department and the Transfer Volunteer Fire Department each received $261,250 in federal grants for a new fire truck, said U.S. Rep. Phil English of Erie, R-3rd.

English said up to $500 million was available nationwide this year for grants to support fire protection.
