Dew Tour
CLEVELAND — Two-time, defending Dew Cup champion Daniel Dhers kept his perfect mark intact Sunday with a BMX park event victory in the Right Guard Open.
It was a heated contest between Dhers and Mike Spinner, who landed the first quad whip in BMX competition.
Dhers landed a 720 over the long box jump, a 720 to tailwhip air, and earned a score of 92.67.
Spinner placed second with 91.17, and Rob Darden was third with 91.17 points, based on a lower scoring first run than Spinner’s.
The four-day competition was the second of five stops on the AST Dew Tour that features skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross.

Redskins get Taylor
ASHBURN, Va. — Jason Taylor is leaving the only NFL team he’s known, going from the Miami Dolphins to the Washington Redskins in a trade Sunday.
The Redskins gave the Dolphins a second-round pick in 2009 and a sixth-round choice in 2010 for Taylor.
The six-time Pro Bowl defensive end — who was the 2006 NFL Defensive Player of the Year — fell out of favor in Miami after spending his offseason on the TV show “Dancing With the Stars” rather than working out with teammates.
The deal came about nine hours after starting defensive end Phillip Daniels was carted away from the practice field at Redskins Park with a season-ending left knee injury on Day 1 of training camp.
