25,000 cheese puffs Ingredients
Dennis Hayda of Niles, co-chair of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival, has one of its most important responsibilities. He has to decide how much to order of each ingredient so that the festival can sell 25,000 cheese puffs and twists, traditionally the biggest sellers at the five-day event. Here is his order list:
Flour: 4,200 pounds
Cheese: 3,000 pounds
Milk: 168 gallons
Margarine: 300 pounds
Sugar: 200 pounds
Eggs: 420 dozen
