Vow renewal, dinner celebrate Myers 60th


X HARTFORD — Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Myers of Hartford celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary by renewing their nuptial vows recently at St. Joseph Church in Sharon, Pa., and during a dinner at the Iron Bridge Inn in Mercer, Pa.

Unexpected guests at the events were a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Sue and Dr. Marc Richman of Harbor Bluffs, Fla.

Their family also includes their children and their spouses, Frank and Pam Myers of Belleair Bluffs, Fla., Ron and Liz Myers of Masury, and Susanne and Rich Wolfe of Largo, Fla.; their grandchildren, Jeff Myers, Jenn Gursky, Frank Myers and Rachel Mattocks; and their great-grandchild, Eddie Gursky.

The former Mary Jablonski and Mr. Myers were married July 10, 1948, at Sacred Heart Church in Sharon. They lived in England for two years while he served with the U.S. Air Force during the Berlin Airlift.

Mr. Myers retired from Sawhill Tube in Wheatland, Pa., in 1990.

The couple have been members of the Hudson Car Club 45 years, traveling throughout the United States to car shows in their 1954 Hudson Hornet and 1947 Hudson Truck. They have traveled to 42 states and to England, Wales and Scotland.
