Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals at noon weekdays at nine locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.
Wednesday, July 23: Chicken fingers with barbecue sauce, sliced zucchini, cauliflower, rye bread with margarine, orange and milk.
Thursday, July 24: Barbecue beef cubes on a bun, rice pilaf, mixed vegetables, diced pears and milk.
Friday, July 25: Vegetable lasagna, sliced carrots, hot spiced fruit salad, wheat bread with margarine, grape juice and milk.
Saturday, July 26: Cold cuts on a bun with mustard and ketchup, mixed fruit, celery cup with ranch dressing and apple juice.
Monday, July 28: Sliced turkey with gravy, mashed yams, peas, bread stuffing, dinner roll with margarine, sliced pears and milk.
Tuesday, July 29: Veal bird with gravy, zesty potatoes, kernel corn, wheat roll with margarine, unsweetened pineapple and milk.

Trumbull county
The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.
