Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its reservation deadline.

Who: Calvary Baptist Church.

What: “Power Lab: Discovering Jesus’ Miraculous Power” for participants from preschool to junior high age.

When: 6-8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with a light dinner served. Closing program at 10:30 a.m. July 27 at Chestnut Hill Pavilion in Mill Creek Park in Youngstown.

What: “Power Lab: Discovering Jesus’ Miraculous Power” for children of all ages. The program will include games, Bible songs, snacks and daily challenge. Children also will participate in a mission project, Operation Kid-to-Kid.

When: 6-8:30 p.m. July 27-31. Parents, grandparents and friends are invited to join children at the conclusion of the program each day for the “fusion finale.”

What: “Son Harvest” program for participants from 3 years old to 12th grade. The event includes a Country Fair and Bible stories, music, games, crafts and snacks.
