Sept. 12
6 p.m. at Byzantine Center at the Grove: LUNA’s 5th Anniversary Scholarship Fundraiser Gala. Latinas United Networking Association Inc. will host its fundraiser at the center, 3801 Shady Run Road. Tickets cost $40 per person. For more information, call the LUNA office at (330) 259-0323.

6-8 p.m. at Butler Institute of American Art: The Hispanic Heritage Art Exhibit will take place at the museum, 524 Wick Ave. The exhibit will feature artistic works of Hispanic artists.
Sept. 18
4-6 p.m. at Maag Library: A workshop, “Dispelling Myths about Latinos and Latin American Heritage,” on the fifth floor will feature Dr. Mehera Gerardo as the moderator; panelists will be announced later.

5:30 p.m. in the Chestnut Room, Kilcawley Center: Celebration featuring Dr. Ram rez.
Sept. 20

Sept. 25
9-11 a.m. at OCCHA: The2008 Annual Educators and Community Helping Hispanics Onward Inc. College Fair will take place at OCCHA, 3660 Shirley Road. This is a college access program geared to target Hispanic/Latino high school students from the ninth through 12 grades. 5:30 p.m. at Mr. Anthony’s: OCCHA, a social service agency serving the Hispanic community, is celebrating 36 years of service with a fund-raising dinner at Mr. Anthony’s, 7440 South Ave., Boardman.
